#1Loom1Life – Myla’s Journey

January 29, 2015

Myla was diagnosed with leukemia in March 2014. She passes her time by making Rainbow Loom bracelets. She will be 11 years old on February 18. Rainbow Loom is partnering with us to collect 218 Rainbow Loom bracelets to raise awareness about the need for bone marrow donors.

How can you help?
– Make a loom bracelet
– Take a picture with the bracelet and post it on Myla’s Journey Facebook page with the hashtag #1Loom1Life
– Mail the bracelet to AADP, 2169 Harbor Bay Pkwy, Alameda CA 94502 (attn: 1Loom1Life).

AADP will collect the rainbow loom bracelets and deliver them to Myla. Feel free to include extra notes or drawings to wish Myla a happy 11th birthday.

Please share this video with everyone you know.

If you’re between the ages of 18 to 44 years old, please register as a marrow donor. Find a bone marrow registration drive near you. You can also request a home test kit to be mailed to you.
