Caitlin loves to sing (got that from her mom) and is quite good at it
She is a very sociable girl and has a big compassionate heart and an easy smile. Although she shies from the limelight, she brightens up every room she enters. Caitlin is fearless, she loves roller coasters, traveling and gymnastics. She also has a big sweet tooth, like her dad.
Caitlin had been diagnosed with Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm (BPDCN) (leukemia). Because of her mixed ethnicity, Vietnamese, Chinese and Caucasian it was difficult to find a marrow match that would help save her life. No marrow donor was found, however a donated umbilical cord blood unit was found and Caitlin received her transplant in December 2016.
