Hang Nguyen

Hang Nguyen (Vietnamese) was a beautiful 33 year old woman that came from Vietnam about 9 years ago. She has two adorable sons (6 and 4) and she lives with her husband Tai in Michigan. She had a mouth blister that refused to heal. After doctors ran some tests they discovered that she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She immediately began chemotherapy treatment, but after her first round the cancer was still there. A stronger dose during the 2nd round put her in remission, but her cancer came back just 2 months later. Hang received a cord blood transplant in early 2008. Unfortunately, she relapsed a month later and passed away in late July 2008.
