Katie is many things: an adoring mother and adored wife, a world traveler, climber of mountains, lover of dogs, and an advocate for disadvantaged youth.
At 32 years old, she never imagined receiving a leukemia diagnosis shortly after celebrating the expected arrival of her second child.
She wants to add “cancer survivor” to her list of achievements and she had done that too. Katie found a wonderful, giving and a great matching donor. She had a transplant in January 2017 and is now home and doing well. Katie would like to thank everyone for registering in her name.
