Lawrence

FB_IMG_1435872309270 (1)

Lawrence was born in the Philippines and migrated to the US when he was 5 years old. Always a conscientious brother, friend and student. He attended Montclair State University, New Jersey, in which he graduated Cum Laude in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Health/Physical Education. Now 25 years old, Lawrence teaches and coaches basketball at an Elementary School in an urban district in New Jersey. He is very passionate about giving back to the community and often volunteers in various events in his neighborhood and where he teaches. Other hobbies include running marathons, playing various sports, working out in the gym and collecting various sneakers. Lawrence was just diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) and will need a bone marrow donor to help save his life. “It is tough going through all of the treatment when I am so used to be active and social. I know I can do this, I just need a stranger to lend me a helping hand.”

Lawrence found a matching marrow donor and has had a transplant. “Thank you for registering in my name and helping all people who are in need of a donor.”  I am very grateful.
