Michael, 19, was about to start his first year in college when he was diagnosed with leukemia. As an athlete and football star in high school, Michael wanted a career in phyiscal health and wellness and to one day own a fitness center. Michael was Japanese-Mexican, his uniquie ethnic make up made the search for a suitable donor difficult. Due to health complications, Michael passed away. He was surrounded with love by more than 2 dozen of his family and friends during his last few hours.
