Padmaja, mother of two beautiful children and wife of a loving husband was fighting for her life. She was diagnosed with a very high risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) a rare form of blood cancer that can only be cured by a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.
Because ethnicity plays a crucial role when finding a matching donor, Padmaja asked the South Asian (Indian) community to join the registry. Well, it worked, Padmaja found a donor and had a transplant in July 2018.
I am willing to be a donor for padmaja
