Sameer Bhatia

Sameer Bhatia, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in the summer 2007. During his search for a donor, he joined forces with Team Vinay and together they were able to register over 24,000 potential donors. In October 2007, Sameer found a match and underwent a transplant. Although the donor cells were engrafting, Sameer’s leukemia came back and he passed away from an infection. His legacy will always be remembered.
