Shaun Dizon

Shaun was a sweet and energetic 5-year-old who loved to swim, dance, play video games, and wrestle with his brothers and friends. In January 2010, he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia. Studies have shown that chemo is ineffective in JMML patients and if left untreated, this disease progresses rapidly. Shaun received a transplant in early summer 2010. Unfortunately, Shaun passed away from complications.
